CLOSED - Kids Acro Aerial Level 2: 10-Week Series (Sundays)
Description
This 10-week session will have your kiddo learning a variety of poses that will come together in a choreographed routine! This session will include one class a week, either Wednesday or Sunday.
FAQ:
Q: Can you explain how the classes will work a little more?
A: Of course! Let's say your child signs up for Sunday's Level 1 class. Every Sunday from 4-5pm for the next 10 weeks, your kiddo will attend class. We'll focus on learning poses and safety the first class. After that, they will learn a small part of the routine each class until they know their entire song's chorography. The last day, they'll perform their routine alongside their classmates.
Q: My child has never done acro aerial. Can they sign up?
A: Of course! Beginners and anyone under the age of 10 will need to be in Level 1. We will have a "Test Your Level" workshop before the next session, so we can periodically evaluate which session each child should be in.
Q: My child would like to attend more than one class a week. Can they do that?
A: Yes, but you will have to purchase two of the 10-week sessions, and they will be learning two separate routines. If that's okay with you and your kiddo, that's fine with us!
Q: Why are there two days for Level 1 and Level 2?
A: The maximum kids we can have per section is 10. Since we have a lot of aerialists in Levels 1 and 2, we wanted to be sure everyone could sign up who would like to.
Q: My child won't be able to make all 10 classes. Can they still perform?
A: As long as the child shows they can learn and perform up to expectations, then yes!
Q: If my child misses their class, can they attend one on another day that week?
A: Unfortunately, no. Each session will be learning their own routine, so they need to attend only the session they signed up for.
Q: My child is very shy. What if they don't want to perform?
A: They don't have to! We want to honor our more timid aerialists. They will still attend all the classes and learn the routine, but they do not have to perform. They will need to decide by class 3, though, so the instructor can plan accordingly.
Q: How many songs will each group perform?
A: Just one! But I promise, it'll be just the perfect amount of fun and challenge they want!
Note: minimum of 5 children per class needed. If minimum is not reached, we may consolidate or cancel that session.
