Embodied Yoga is an approach that emphasizes the connection between body, mind, and spirit, focusing on bringing awareness to physical sensations, emotions, and experiences in the present moment. It integrates principles of mindfulness and somatic awareness, encouraging practitioners to tune into their bodies and listen to their inner wisdom.

1. Mindfulness: Practitioners are encouraged to be fully present during their practice, noticing thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations without judgment.

2. Somatic Awareness: This involves exploring the body’s movements and sensations, fostering a deeper understanding of how the body holds experiences and emotions.

3. Personal Exploration: Each session invites individuals to discover their unique body rhythms and movements, allowing for a more personalized practice.

4. Trauma-Informed Practices:  Our classes integrate trauma-informed practices that recognize the influence of past experiences on the body. We employ gentle techniques to foster healing and ensure a safe environment for all participants.

5. Integration of Breath: Breathwork plays a significant role, helping to anchor awareness and facilitate a deeper connection to the body.

Overall, Embodied Yoga aims to create a nurturing environment where individuals can explore their physical and emotional landscapes, leading to greater self-awareness and holistic well-being.
